Dr. James Igoe Walsh
Dr. James Igoe Walsh is Professor of Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In recent years his work has been supported by the Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Homeland Security, the National Science Foundation’s Time-Sharing Experiments in the Social Sciences, and the Institute for Homeland Security Solutions. His research interests include political violence and terrorism, human rights violations, and intelligence and national security. Dr. Walsh is the author of The International Politics of Intelligence Sharing (Columbia University Press), which was named an Outstanding Title by Choice. He is the author of articles in Comparative Political Studies, International Studies Quarterly, Terrorism and Political Violence, and other books and journals. Dr. Walsh holds a Ph.D. in international relations from American University.
