Important Security Information for Driving on Post
U.S. Army War College has two entrances, however, only one gate is open to civilians, the ‘back gate' on Claremont Road. All MapQuest© directions will point you to this entrance. All vehicles must proceed through a checkpoint, which is on the opposite side of the road. This area is clearly marked and there is plenty of signage to follow. Drivers of vehicles without a Department of Defense sticker must have a current registration card, driver's license, and insurance card or Security will not allow you to enter Carlisle Barracks. An organized and clean vehicle interior speeds up the vehicle inspection process.
For vehicles with DoD stickers and drivers with a DoD identification card, you should still use the rear entrance, but you will likely not need inspection unless you have been randomly selected.
